An Excerpt from:
'Taking the Stairs'.
John`s 4th Novel.
"The first time
I got lost I was 22. I was young. Naive. Opinionated. Beautiful.
I had short cropped hair. A smile that came easy and a felt genuine
sense that I had to get away. I was a silly, giddy charming fool
who laughed at my own jokes and fell about into easy fits of laughter.
All I wanted to do was yell and jump and hoot like some wild animal
at the yellow omnipotent moon. Well herein likes the complicity.
True I was only twenty two. But already a seasoned liar. "
